Black’s Pharmacy has been proudly serving Merritt for over 50 years. Since 1969, this pharmacy has been a staple in the community and stood the test of time, providing personal service from owner to owner over the years. Our community-minded, friendly neighbourhood pharmacy works hard to provide safe and effective pharmaceutical care to you and your family.
Our Community
We’re proud to support our little community in Merritt, the Nicola Valley and surrounding areas. We value each of our customers like family, and know how important it is to look out for each other in good times and in bad. We love to help and lend a hand whenever we can, and enjoy sponsoring and getting involved in community events and youth sports organizations.

Our Team
Blaine Martens
Pharmacist/Owner
Blaine has been a community pharmacist since 2007. He is authorized to administer injections and is a Certified Diabetes Educator. He also coaches minor hockey and minor softball in Merritt. Him and Danielle purchased Black’s Pharmacy in 2015.
Danielle Martens
Pharmacist/Owner
Danielle has been a community pharmacist since 2007. She is authorized to administer injections and is a Certified Diabetes Educator. She is also interested in women’s health.
